Laura Grier Podiatrist/Director
Laura Grier had her first encounter with podiatry as a gangly adolescent after she developed knee pain playing basketball. Born from this was an appreciation for the impact Podiatry could have enabling you to keep moving and maintain an active lifestyle. Time passes and as Laura Grier and her bumbling teens were superseded by young womanhood and brains, she graduated in flying colours from Charles Sturt University.
As a podiatrist Laura Grier works out of Performance Podiatry Sydney based at 7/193 Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000 phone (02) 9231 0518 and the Movement Centre where she weirdly loves to perform ingrown toenail surgery and helping her patients kick stubborn fungal infections of the skin and nails. Less weird is that she has developed a keen interest in treating overuse injuries and employing a collaborative approach where necessary to get the best possible outcome for her patients.
Laura is a delicate flower and as an avid skier she fully understands the importance of correct boot fitting, having herself experienced years of sore shins, blistered ankles and frozen toes as a result of her paper-thin sensitive skin. Meaning she is now expertly positioned to be your go to girl for any ski boot fitting. In her spare time Laura loves to go to places that Instagram says are cool and her fanatical practice of reformer Pilates means her gangly days are nothing but an unpleasant memory.

PODIATRY | BECOME PAIN FREE & ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
Keep moving & maintain an active lifestyle
At The Movement Centre we get a thrill out of keeping you on your feet, so that you can keep doing the things that you love. And no one is better able to keep you on your feet than our podiatrists. We have come to find that just like people, feet are ever evolving. As our lifestyles and our foot health changes over the course of our lives, so do our podiatry needs.
This is why podiatry at The Movement Centre is so dynamic. We care for families through their developmental years all the way up until the children move out of home and into the world. We see them move in and out of sports or interests, then in and out of occupations, all with different demands on their feet. The whole time our focus is movement. We help you to move the correct way, to move pain free and to move for a lifetime.
