THE MOVEMENT CENTRE
What to expect

A visit to the podiatrists of The Movement Centre will have you back on your feet doing what you love in no time.

When you arrive for your first appointment you will be asked questions about your concern and the history surrounding that issue.

Based on what you tell us, we will curate a set of tests and assessments to get to the bottom of your problem. We may even refer you for X-rays or ultrasound diagnostics if we feel they will give us valuable information.

Once we have a diagnosis of your presenting issue, we will look for the route cause and begin to address this through an array of treatments.

We often use treatments such as exercise therapy, orthotics, shockwave therapy, nail laser treatments, nail surgery, SWIFT microwave therapy, gait retraining and running training…

Our three podiatrists have a combined 25+ years since University and this experience means that you are in safe and knowledgeable hands.

PODIATRY | BECOME PAIN FREE & ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
Keep moving & maintain an active lifestyle
At The Movement Centre we get a thrill out of keeping you on your feet, so that you can keep doing the things that you love. And no one is better able to keep you on your feet than our podiatrists. We have come to find that just like people, feet are ever evolving. As our lifestyles and our foot health changes over the course of our lives, so do our podiatry needs.
This is why podiatry at The Movement Centre is so dynamic. We care for families through their developmental years all the way up until the children move out of home and into the world. We see them move in and out of sports or interests, then in and out of occupations, all with different demands on their feet. The whole time our focus is movement. We help you to move the correct way, to move pain free and to move for a lifetime.
